<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Special Meeting <br />October 14, 1980 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />condominium concept also, and further indicated that the price ranges of the <br />homes would be approximately $50,000 to $75,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Clem Darkenwald, Chairman of the Board of Faith Fellowship Church,repre- <br />senting the Pastor, the Elders and members of the Church, expressed their sup- <br />port of the Planned Unit Development, and indicated that they felt the project <br />would be an asset to the community. <br /> <br />Councilman Toth indicated that the final plans for the Planned Unit Development <br />would come to the Planning Commission for their recommendation and then to the <br />City Council for another Public Hearing and final approval. COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM <br />MOVED APPROVAL OF THE BARRINGTON PLACE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT SUBJECT TO THE <br />DEVELOPER'S AGREEMENT TO CONTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR CONDITIONAL USES FOR THE COM- <br />MERCIAL AREA. COUNCILMAN OTTO SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />6. Watermain Extension for Salk Junior High School <br /> <br />Mr. Lyle Swanson, of McCombs-Knutson and Assoc., engineers for the watermain <br />project, was present to present the recommendations of the School Board, re- <br />garding the watermain project to Salk Junior High School. Mr. Swanson in- <br />dicated that the School Board recommended that the watermain be constructed up <br />Proctor Avenue to the School, without the loop to the east, and further indica- <br />ted that the School District would pay their fair share of the watermain line, <br />to be determined by the City Council at the assessment hearing. COUNCILMAN TOTH <br />MOVED APPROVAL OF RESmn.rr~) 80-28, ORDERING THE PROJECT FOR THE WATERMAIN FOR <br />SALK JUNIOR HIGH. COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />3-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN OTTO MOVED APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 80-35, ACCEPTING THE BIDS AND <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO HENNEN CONSTRUCTION, ROGERS, MINNESOTA, FOR THE WATER- <br />MAIN EXTENSION FOR SALK JUNIOR HIGH. COUNCILMAN ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMAN OTTO MOVED THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED. <br />COUNCILMAN TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION.
