The City Administrator indicated that $434,000 is the <br />maximum levy allowed for the City's general fund with estimated collections of <br />$408,000. <br /> <br />General discussion was carried on regarding the proposed levy. <br /> <br />COUN iILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 84- 31 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE 1985 TAX LEVY IN THE AMOUNT OF $741,400. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />21. <br /> <br />Purc ase of Police Squad Cars <br /> <br />::]e Chief Tom Zerwas discussed his memorandum to the City Administnrtor dated <br />December 14, 1984 regarding the purchase of an additional squad car. Tom Zerwas <br />indidated that there were funds available in the 1984 police department budget <br />to a]low for the purchase of an additional car in 1984. <br /> <br />COUN ILMEMBERDUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE AN ADDITIONAL S UAD CAR PURCHASE IN THE <br />1984 BUDGET. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />22.
