Dietz Letter Regarding Softball Lighting <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that he received a letter from Mr. John Dietz requesting <br />that the City Council consider lighting for the new ballfields being constructed <br />adjacent to Orono Park. The Mayor and City Council were in agreement that a <br />response should be provided to the letter once some information can be developed <br />regarding costs associated with the project. The City Administrator indicated <br />that costs were being gathered at this time and would be provided to the City <br />Council as soon as they were available. <br /> <br />8. Consider Various Licenses <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED APPROVAL OF THE FOLLOWING LICENSES: <br /> <br />1. A bowling alley license for Reggies Pennant Bar. <br /> <br />2. Mechanical amusement device license for Sunshine Depot. <br /> <br />3. A gambling license for St. Andrews. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />9. Liquor License Renewals <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE ALL OF THE LIQUOR LICENSES FOR WHICH <br />APPLICATION HAD BEEN RECEIVED AND AS INDICATED ON THE JUNE 29, 1984 LIST <br />SUPPLIED BY THE CITY STAFF. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />The City Council indicated specific concerns regarding the Sunshine Depot <br />application which was not provided to the City and informed the staff that <br />the Sunshine Depot would have until the following Monday to make application <br />and pay the necessary fees or be in jeopardy of losing the liquor license. <br />Council also directed the staff not to sign any liquor licenses until such <br />time as necessary fees and payment have been made for all licenses previously <br />appr ved. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br /> <br />u date <br /> <br />U date <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Administrator reviewed with the City Council meeting dates scheduled <br />the month of July. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />e Administrator informed the Council that the required public hearing <br />or the cable television franchise was going to be conducted on July <br />Oth at 1:30 p.m. at the Buffalo City Hall. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Chec <br /> <br />ister <br />
