<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REGULAR WEEKLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE <br />ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />MONDAY, JUNE 4, 1984 <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Engstrom, Duitsman, Schuldt <br />and Gunkel <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Hinkle. <br /> <br />2. Agenda <br /> <br />Item 12~ - Elk River Country Club Set Up License, Item 12 3/4 - Ridgewood <br />Association Roads, Item 13 - Administrator's Update (H) -Speed Zone on <br />Highway #10, (I) - Liquor Store Employee (J) - Councilmember Gunkel's Item <br />Tot Park, Public Hearing Letters, and (K) - Councilmember Engstrom Issue <br />- R-rated movies and Item 13~ - Check Register; were items added to the <br />June 4, 1984 City Council agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 4, 1984 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />4-0. <br /> <br />3. Minutes of May.7 and May 21 City Council Meetings <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle requested that the word blacktopping be stricken from Item <br />6 - Road Standards and Policies, and acceptance of necessary improvements <br />to 218th Avenue Northwest. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 7, 1984 CITY <br />COUNCIL MEETING AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel requested that Item 5~ - Feasibility Study for East <br />Main Street Watermain Improvement, be changed to Feasibility for East <br />Watermain Improvement. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 21, 1984 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. Open Mike <br /> <br />No one appeared for this item. <br /> <br />5. Board of Review - Continuation <br /> <br />Mr. Jerry Kritzeck, Assessor for the County Assessor's office, indicated <br />that at the Board of Review meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Goodfellow requested that <br />the Assessor's office reconsider their property in the Camp Cozy Addition. <br />Mr. Kritzeckfurther indicated that the County Assessor's office had <br />appraised the property at $57,200 and after a physical inspection of the <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />
