Elk River Utilities <br /> <br />Councilmember Duitsman indicated that the Elk River Utilities is interested in <br />moving to the basement of the City hall building. Councilmember Duitsman further <br />indicated that the Elk River Utilities would pay for the renovation of the offices <br />in the lower portion of the City Hall Building. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt indicated that he thought the downstairs area of the City <br />Hall could be used for meeting rooms and council meetings. Mayor Hinkle indicated <br />that he felt it would be practical to have the Elk River Utilities and the Elk <br />River City Staff located in the same building. <br /> <br />General discussion was carried on regarding the renovation of the City Hall and <br />phasing of the renovation. <br /> <br />It was the general consensus of the City Council that renovation of the City Hall' <br />was not a number priority, but the City Staff should look into cost and methods <br />of renovation of the City Hall. <br /> <br />7. Reconsideration of Issues by the City Council <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel questioned the possibility of an issue coming before the City <br />Council after the City Council has taken. a vote. Councilmember Gunkel questioned <br />the means of bringing the issue before the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the motion to reconsider must come from the <br />prevailing vote, but that the issue could also come before the City Council under! <br />the open mike portion of the City Council Meeting. Mayor Hinkle stressed the <br />importance of the reconsideration of an issue. <br /> <br />It was the general consensus of the City Council that an issue could come before <br />the City Council again at the open mike portion of the agenda. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
