litof
Elk
River
MEMORANDUM
DATE: May 7, 1998
TO: Steve Ach
FROM: Phil Hals
RE: Trott Brook Farms
After the staff concept review meeting on May 6, 1998, I discussed this
development with other members of the Street Department and we came up
with the following list of concerns:
• 1. That all outlots that belong to the city have a dedicated access and a
rough graded trail between the house lots and the outlot so we can deal
with the dead trees, drainage issues and the like, without having to
repair lawns.
2. That a 5-foot steel post be installed by each property iron on all lot
corners that border park property or city owned outlots.
3. That all mailboxes and paperboxes be clustered and located on the left
side of cul-de-sacs just outside of the cul-de-sac itself.
4. That cul-de-sacs have a dedicated right of way for snow storage, not less
than 30 feet in width on the perimeter.
5. That all storm sewer lines located in drainage easements between or
behind residential lots are accessible to maintenance equipment.
6. That all storm sewer inlets and outlets have trash guards.
•
13065 Orono Parkway • P.O. Box 490 • Elk River, MN 55330 • TDD & Phone: (612) 441-7420 • Fax: (612) 441-7425
