THE MOTION <br />PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />8F. Lease Asreement <br /> <br />The City Administrato. indicated that he had the City <br />Attorney draw UP a leas asreement for temporary housins <br />of public works vehi les at the Insti-top buildins on <br />Hishway #10. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS MOVED TO APPROVE THE LEASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE TE PORARY HOUSING OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />VEHICLES TO BE LOCAT D IN THE INSTI-TOP BUILDING ON <br />HIGHWAY #10. COUNCILM MBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />8G. Stop Sisn on Proctor an School Street <br /> <br /> <br />The Street Superinten ent indicated that he had been <br />settins a number of calls and complaints ~rom people <br />wantins to put the sto sisn back on Proctor and School <br />Street. Mayor Hinkle indicated that he felt that the <br />City Council should t ke it to the County Commissioner <br />and request that the s op sisn be put back, and further <br />stated that if the Courty Commissioner were asainstthe <br />request that the City C uncil should set a petition from <br />the people because of t~e fact that he has heard nothins <br />but sood from the peopl when the stop sisnwas up. <br /> <br />8H. Fence ~or Orono Ballfie <br /> <br /> <br />The Street Superintend indicated that he had removed <br />427 feet of fencins Orono Ballfield and stated he <br />would li~:e to replace with a 6 foot hish fence. He <br />indicated the fencins as removed because the fence was <br />too low and was causirs potential hazards for the ball <br />players. The Street uperintendent further indicated <br />that the fundins would come from the softball <br />association. The Stre t Superintendent stated that the <br />softball association ad collected $6,800 in team fees <br />and further stated that he only thins the money had been <br />used for so far was for the bleachers.
