The <br />City Administrator indicated that according to Section 504 <br />there are certain requirements stipulated bv the Federal law <br />which mandate that anyone receiving Federal funds must <br />review all of their. builing F.r.Ogr.ams, ser.vices and <br />employment practices to determine that they are not <br />discriminating aaainst the handicapped. <br /> <br />Jullee Quarve Peterson discussed 504 Handicap Program with <br />the Elk River City Council at this time. <br /> <br />Sign Ordinance <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt questioned the progress on the Sign <br />Ordinance. The Buildin9 and Zoning Administrator stated <br />that the Sian Ordinance had been in front of the Planning <br />Commission and City Council and was also in front of the <br />Chamber. of Commer.c e. After. some di sc uss i on, it wa s <br />suggested by Mayor Hinkle that the next step is to take <br />action on the Sign Ordinance by calling a public hearing. <br /> <br />7. Consideration of Administrative Subdivision from Mr. William <br />Do llansk y <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Adrrlinistr"ator. indicated that Mr.. <br />Dollansky who lives at 14045 217th Avenue Northwest in Elk <br />River is requesting an administrative subdivision to split <br />off a 2.5 acre piece of property from his existing 30 acre <br />piece of property which would be used as a builing site for <br />his sorl. <br /> <br />The Buildins and Zoning Administrator stated that Mr. <br />Dollansky's property abuts County Road 33 and 32. <br /> <br />Mavor Hinkle opened the public hearing. There was no one <br />for or against this matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle closed the public hearing. <br />
