The Building and Zoning Administrator further stated that the landscapins area had been seeded. 5. Consideration of Requirments 504 Handicap Accessibilitv Program The City Administrator introduced Jullee Quarve Peterson, a consultant specializing in development of 504 Pr09rams. The City Administrator indicated that according to Section 504 there are certain requirements stipulated bv the Federal law which mandate that anyone receiving Federal funds must review all of their. builing F.r.Ogr.ams, ser.vices and employment practices to determine that they are not discriminating aaainst the handicapped. Jullee Quarve Peterson discussed 504 Handicap Program with the Elk River City Council at this time. Sign Ordinance Councilmember Schuldt questioned the progress on the Sign Ordinance. The Buildin9 and Zoning Administrator stated that the Sian Ordinance had been in front of the Planning Commission and City Council and was also in front of the Chamber. of Commer.c e. After. some di sc uss i on, it wa s suggested by Mayor Hinkle that the next step is to take action on the Sign Ordinance by calling a public hearing. 7. Consideration of Administrative Subdivision from Mr. William Do llansk y The Building and Zoning Adrrlinistr"ator. indicated that Mr.. Dollansky who lives at 14045 217th Avenue Northwest in Elk River is requesting an administrative subdivision to split off a 2.5 acre piece of property from his existing 30 acre piece of property which would be used as a builing site for his sorl. The Buildins and Zoning Administrator stated that Mr. Dollansky's property abuts County Road 33 and 32. Mavor Hinkle opened the public hearing. There was no one for or against this matter. Mayor Hinkle closed the public hearing.
