COMMISSIONER TEMPLE MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE CONCEPT PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE BARTHEL PUD AS OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT C, WITH THE STIPULATION THAT AN ECNLOSED WALK SPACE BETWEEN THE BEN FRANKLIN STORE AND THE COAST TO COAST BE REQUIRED. COMMISSIONER WILLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 7-0. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO EXEND THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING PAST MIDNIGHT. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. The Council and Plannin9 Commission then discuss~d th~ site plan fo~ the Pamida sto~e. Skip So~enson,A~chitect fo~ Ba~th~l, noted that th~ propos~d Pamida was 200' x 200' and was mad~ out of the sam~block mat~~ial as was used on the Elk River Plaza, and fu~the~ that the sto~e would be built to match the Plaza. H~ fu~th~~ noted that pa~kin9 is enti~elv to the south. He stated that Pamida was ~equesting an outside va~d sto~age fo~ s~asonal ~oods.
