Councilmember <br />Gunkel further stated that in the letter, Barthel indicated they would be starting <br />on the housing as soon as the Developer's Agreement was signed and further that the <br />area not involved with first phase of the building would be seeded. Councilmember <br />Gunkel indicated she would like to see something done with it as soon as possible. <br /> <br />9E. Mining Adjacent to County Road 33 and Proctor <br /> <br />Councilmember Williams stated that he had noticed Barton Sand and Gravel mining <br />closer and closer to Proctor Avenue. Councilmember Williams stated he would like to <br />see the City's~~nanc~ changed regarding how close mining can be done to a road. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council, a:l;-terfurther discu&scion of Batton 's mining <br />operation, that they would like to have Barton Sand and Gravel present at a City <br />Council meeting to show an overall project review. <br /> <br />9F. Removal of Aggregate from Highway 169 <br /> <br />Phil Hals, the City's Street Superintendent stated that he had been doing some work <br />on the property owned by the City located on Highway 169 and further indicated that <br />he had run into some good aggregate in the hill located on the property. Mr. Hals <br />questioned the Council as to whether they would give him permission to get someone <br />to crush the gravel and use it for Class Five for the City's needs. Mr. Hals further <br />stated that he felt the material could be crushed in about a week to ten days and <br />felt that the City could save money by crushing their own gravel for Class Five. It <br />was the general consensus of the City Council to have Phill Hals have the aggregate <br />crushed to use as Class Five for the City's needs. <br /> <br />10. Check Register <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHECK REGISTER. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />11. Tentative Agenda <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that at the next City Council meeting they would <br />have figures from Dexter Mapson regarding the public facilities. <br /> <br />12. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNGILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS SECONDED THE MOTION.
