Procedures for preserving trees may include color markings, banding, and fencing of significant trees to keep construction machinery and equipment a safe distance from the trees. These precautions shall be included in the landscape surety. ix) A pest assessment of existing woodlands shall be provided with a for pest management plan. Oak Wilt precautions shall be followed from April 15 to July 1. Trees wounded within these times shall have wounds covered ASAP to prevent infection. x) Replacement trees shall be located adjacent to the development or proposed structures or, if the requirements that cannot be met on the said land, the trees may be planted on public lands as approved by the City. 7 .
