<br /> <br />, <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />January 14, 1985 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />Discussion was also carried on regarding the appointment of an acting City <br />Administrator in the absence of the City Administrator until such time as a <br />new city administrator is hired. <br /> <br />It was the COnsensus of the City Council that the City Council would be con- <br />sidering the appointment of an acting City Administrator and the salary to be <br />paid the acting City Administrator. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council that the City Administrator would <br />research executive search firms and report back to the City Council on Thursday, <br />January 17th at 11:30 a.m. <br /> <br />8. Home Occupation <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel indicated that the home occupation on Jackson Avenue is <br />using flashing lights and a "Yes - Open" sign on the front lawn. The City Ad- <br />ministrator indicated that he would have the Building and Zoning Administrator <br />talk to Mr. Lynas regarding his conditional use for,'a~home_occupation and the~con- <br />ditions of that conditional use. <br /> <br />9. Check Register <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT HOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 14, 1985 CHECK REGISTER. <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED THAT THE MEETING BE AD- <br />JOURNED. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION.
