<br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />January 7. 1985 <br />Page Seven <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that he is confident the tax increment <br />financing will be accomplished and further indicated that he will have the City's <br />Attorney. Dave Sellergrenfrom Larkin, Hoffman, Daly, Lindgren coordinate the <br />project. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Heavenly Hills Assessment Appeal <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the City's Attorney is unavailable for <br />trial on January 28th and has asked that the court consider an alternate <br />date. The City Administrator further indicated that the alternate date has not <br />been scheduled at this time. <br />Budget <br />ILwCi::; the consensus of the City Council that the City's budget would be discussed <br />at Ene January 14th City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council to consider Planning Commission items <br />at the February 11th City Council meeting, rather than the regular 3rd Monday <br />City Council meeting, which is a holiday. <br /> <br />E. Brentwood Roads <br /> <br />Mr. John Gilbertson of Consulting Engineers Diversified indicated that he had <br />received a letter from Mr. Dennis Anderson, developer of Brentwood, regarding <br />the requirement of a berm near the Coor's property and repair of washouts on <br />the shoulders to be completed in the spring. Mr. Gilbertson further indicated <br />that Mr. Dennis Anderson has paid for the engineering fees required for the <br />project. Mr. Gilbertson indicated that the sign posts are in and Mr. Anderson <br />has received the street signs. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle suggested that Mr. Gilbertson put the recommendation into a letter <br />to the Mayor and City Council and Mr. Dennis Anderson with the time limit <br />on the completion of the items in the spring. Mr. Gilbertson indicated that he <br />would have a letter of recommendation for the City Council at their next <br />scheduled City Counc.il meeting, with a time limit of June 1st to coincide with <br />the park dedication fees requirement and further indicated that should that <br />deadline not be met, no building permits would be issued in the development. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the developer of Deerfield 2nd Addition, <br />Mr. Gerry Smith, will be presenting a preliminary plat and further indicated <br />that it is proposed Mr. Smith will be giving property, approximately 27 acres, <br />instead of cash for the park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />21. Tentative Agenda <br /> <br />The budget and the letter of recommendation from the City's engineer regarding <br />Brentwood will be considered at the next regular scheduled meeting of the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOVED THAT THE MEETING BE <br />ADJOURNED.
