<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REGULAR WEEKLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE <br />ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />MONDAY, JANUARY '7" 1985 <br /> <br />--, <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Engstrom, Williams, Schuldt and Gunkel <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Hinkle. <br /> <br />2. Administration of Oath of Office for Mayor and Councilmembers Ward 2 and Ward 3 <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to th.e Mayor, Dick Hinkle, and <br />Councilmembers Gene Schuldt and Warren Williams. <br /> <br />3. Agenda <br /> <br />Item 18C. - Sneaky Pete's Amusement Device License and Elk River Youth Hockey <br />Raffle and Item 20E. - the Brentwoods roads, were added to the January 7, 1985 <br />City Council agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 7, 1985 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. Minu tes <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel indicated that there was an error in the amount of the bonds <br />to be issued for the Barthel Planned Unit Development in the December 17, 1984 <br />City Council minutes, page 2. The amount should be $3,400,000 for Parcel A only. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 17, 1984 CITY <br />COUNCIL HEETING AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />5. Open Mike <br /> <br />No one appeared for this item. <br /> <br />6. Minor Administrative Subdivision Request - Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Mr. Jerry Minor of Jerry's Auto on Highway #10 is <br />requesting an administrative subdivision to allow him to purchase .38 acres from <br />the property to the east of his auto dealership and to add it to his property. <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Mr. Minor is requesting the administrative subdivision <br />to allow him to add enough property to construct an additional building to his deal- <br />ership. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Discussion was carried on regarding the property line and the road into the Minors' <br />property. The City Administrator indicated that the administrative subdivision re- <br />quest is in compliance with the City's zoning and subdivision regulations and <br />therefore, it is recommended that the City Council approve the administrative sub- <br />division request. <br />
