Meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />Ver Held at the Elk River City Hall <br />Tuesday, February 20, 2018 <br />Members Present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, and Wagner <br />Members Absent: Councilmembers Ovall and Westgaard <br />Staff Present: City Administrator Calvin Portner, Economic Development Director <br />Amanda Othoudt, Environmental Coordinator Amanda Bednar, Community <br />Operations and Development Director Suzanne Fischer, Planning Manager <br />Zack Carlton, Senior Planner Chris Leeseberg, Attorney Peter Beck, and <br />Executive Secretary/Deputy City Clerk Jessica Miller <br />I. Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called <br />to order at 6:10 p.m. by Mayor Dietz. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />Consider February 20, 2018, Agenda <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen to <br />approve the February 20, 2018, agenda. Motion carried 3-0. <br />4. Consider Consent Agenda <br />Councilmember Wagner thanked staff for the thorough minutes as she feels the detail will be <br />important in the future. <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen to <br />approve the following consent agenda: <br />4.1 Minutes <br />• February 5, 2018 <br />• February 8, 2018 <br />4.2 Check register, check numbers 104924-105315 as outlined in the staff report. <br />4.3 Pay adjustment for Park Maintenance Supervisor Tim Sevcik to pay grade 12 <br />retroactive to December 31, 2017. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />S. Open Forum <br />Pat Briggs, Briggs Companies, LLC, 633 Upland Avenue — provided an update on <br />renovations at the Elk River Lodge. He asked the Council to consider tabling item 8.2 on <br />Tax Increment Assistance until he has a chance to meet with staff to discuss. <br />
