Cornstalks to Corn Brooms: <br /> A Closer Look at Growth in Sherburne County. <br /> The Sherburne County Historical Society extends an invitation to all those interested <br /> in the growth of Sherburne County to attend the April meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the <br /> Becker City Hall. <br /> • The evening begins with a brief membership meeting to which all are invited. At 7:30 <br /> Frank Martin and Chris Faust will present a slide program entitled: The Suburban <br /> Documentation Project: The Historic Implications of Metropolitan Growth. Frank, a <br /> landscape architect, and Chris, a photographer, began collaborating on the Suburban <br /> Documentation Project in 1990. The project is a multi-disciplinary effort to <br /> document, understand and publicize the significant environmental effects of <br /> metropolitan growth. <br /> After Frank and Chris' presentation of the larger view the program will focus on <br /> Sherburne County. Brian Bensen, Dan Howard and John Reibel will offer brief <br /> remarks on county zoning, development, and growth. Brian is the Sherburne County <br /> Zoning Administrator, Dan is the owner of Howard Homes, and John served as a <br /> member of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Task Force. <br /> The public will be invited to ask questions of the participants and offer their <br /> comments on development. <br /> 41 <br />
