CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> SHELTER RESERVATION POLICIES <br /> 1 . ALL SHELTERS AT THE PARKS MUST BE RESERVED PRIOR TO USE. <br /> Shelters may be reserved by Elk River Residents ONLY by <br /> contacting City Hall any time after January 1 of that year <br /> --- 720 Dodge Avenue - 441-7420 . <br /> 2. A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED for residents making the reservation <br /> and is refundable if the shelter and surrounding area is <br /> cleaned of refuse and debris prior to leaving the area . <br /> 3 . A reservation form MUST be filled out at the City of Elk <br /> River ONE WEEK PRIOR to the reservation date or it will <br /> result in the loss of the reservation. This form MUST be <br /> brought to the shelter on the reservation day requested. <br /> 5 . The following is a summary of what is available at the <br /> parks : <br /> All shelters have an electrical box, and water is <br /> available in the parks . <br /> There are picnic tables in each shelter and throughout the <br /> park. Barbecue grills are also available by each shelter. <br /> ORONO PARK - NOTE: THERE ARE NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES <br /> ALLOWED 'ON ORONO LAKE BEACH <br /> - 2-Octagonal Shelters that will hold approximately 50 <br /> people per shelter. <br /> - 1-Rectangular Shelter that will hold approximately 150 <br /> people. <br /> - Playground area <br /> - Swimming Beach <br /> - Fishing Pier <br /> - Volleyball Court off Beach area (Volleyball not provided) <br /> - Horseshoe Pits (Horseshoes not provided) <br /> - Boat launch <br /> - Softball field - YOU MUST CALL THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION <br /> DEPARTMENT TO RESERVE THIS FIELD 441-1003 x 240 <br /> LION' S PARK - <br /> - 4-Octagonal Shelters that will hold approximately 50 <br /> people per shelter. <br /> - 1-Rectangular Shelter that will hold approximately 150+ <br /> people, with an enclosed area and serving counters . <br /> - Bandshell with seating (approximately 200 people ) <br /> - Walking path <br /> - Tot playground area <br /> 411 <br /> - Fishing pond <br /> - Basketball and Volleyball Courts (Balls not provided) <br /> - Horseshoe Pits (Horseshoes not provided) <br /> 6 .
