COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Klaers stated that staff would place an ad in the local paper <br />advertising for office space tenants. Mr. Klaers also stated that he <br />will be contacting local business owners .to determine a fair and <br />competitive price for leasing space. Mr. Klaers noted that it may be <br />possible to rent the entire building out for a total of $12.000 per year <br />and that the tenants will pay the taxes and utilities. He also noted <br />that there will be approximately 6.500 to 7.000 square feet of total <br />space available for lease. and that the garage area will be retained for <br />police vehicle storage. <br /> <br />8. Six Month Review of City Administrator <br /> <br />Discussion of the City Administrator position was caried on. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED APPROVAL OF THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE <br />SIX MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PATRICK. KLAERS. CITY ADMINISTRATOR. AND <br />THAT AN INCREASE IN SALARY TO $40.000 PER YEAR BE AUTHORIZED EFFECTIVE <br />NOVEMBER 8. 1986. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO INCREASE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S CAR <br />ALLOWANCE FROM $150/MONTH TO $250/MONTH. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-1.
