OCTOBER 20. 1986 <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Schuldt, Gunkel, Tralle <br />and Engstrom <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff Present: Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Phil Hals, Street <br />Superintendent <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Hinkle. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of Council 10/20/86 Council Agenda <br /> <br />Items lOa. MSA Resolution Regarding Elk Hills Drive, lOb. - Youth <br />Hockey Gambling License, 10c. - Landfill License, and 10d. - Roma Tool <br />were added to the agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 10/20/86 COUNCIL AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4- <br />O. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consideration of 10/13/86 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 13. 1986 CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4- <br />O. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Open Mike <br /> <br />Jackie Schuelein, Executive Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce <br />stated that the Chamber had taken a poll from the business community <br />regarding the RDF Plant. Ms. Schuelein took a few minutes to review the <br />outcome of the survey with the Council. <br /> <br />Ms. Schuelein stated that the Governor's Design Team would be present in <br />Elk River this weekend and explained the programs and agenda planned. <br /> <br />Ms. Schuelein also stated that the Business Expo will be held Sunday, <br />November 2, 1986. <br /> <br />8. City Hall Facility <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Santwire presented a blueprint of the proposed building which <br />the City would be leasing for the future City Hall. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE LAYOUT AS PRESENTED AND FURTHER <br />AUTHORIZED THE CITY HALL STAFF TO FINALIZE THE PLANS FOR THE BUILDING. <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br />
