• Mr. Steve Ach
September 22, 1994
Page Three
If possible, we would recommend that the driveway be allowed to initially operate
in a manner which allows both left and right turn movements. However, if left
turning movements from this location begin to cause problems, either internal to the
site or to Freeport Avenue, it would be desirable to come back at a later date and
restrict this driveway to right turns only. This could easily be accomplished in the
future by extending the curb lines to direct exiting vehicles in a northerly or right
turn manner.
7. Adequate sanitary sewer and water facilities are available to serve this site from the
utilities recently installed in Freeport Avenue.
8. It may be necessary to obtain a permit from MnDOT or grading in the Highway 169
right-of-way. Currently, the grading plan shows minimal grading outside of the
platted lot area. However, even this small amount of grading in the highway right-
of-way does require a permit from MnDOT.
If you have any questions regarding these comments, please call.
• Sincerely,
MSA, CONSULTING ENGINEERS
C—
Terry J. laaurer, P.E.
TJM:tw
•
230/247-2201.sep
