The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that Jerry Smith was
requesting that the easement for the west frontage road to Deerfield 3rd
Addition be removed. The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that if
the City does not use the easement it will be vacated and given back to
Mr. Smith.

It was the consensus of the City Council to keep the western road and
utility easement associated with the Deerfield 3rd plat.

The Building and Zoning Administrator handed out a copy of a sign Jerry
Smith is proposing to put up in the Deerfield 3rd Addition.
Councilmember Gunkel indicated that she would like to see Mr. Smith add
to the sign that occupancy of house would not be allowed prior to the
northern access to Highway 169 being completed. It was the consensus of
the Council that the Planning Commission must review this sign request
prior to the Council reviewing it.

22E. Councilmember Gunkel noted that she would like to know what the status
was regarding the study for the downtown parking. She indicated that
R.L.
