SEPTEMBER 22. 1986 <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmembers Schuldt. Gunkel. Tralle and Engstrom <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Hinkle <br /> <br />Also Present: Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Terry Maurer. City Engineer; <br />Tom Zerwas. Police Chief; and Phil Hals. Street <br />Superintendent <br /> <br />1. Acting Mayor Schuldt called meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consider 9/22/86 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />Item 12A - New Police Vehicles was added to the agenda. <br /> <br />eOUNCILM!MBER GUNKEL MOVED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 22. 1986 CITY <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />3. Consider 9/15/86 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br />COUNCIL MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM <br />MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 15. 1986 CITY <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> <br />4. Open Mike <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Santwire was present to discuss the possibility of the City <br />Offices moving to the GarSan Building. He elaborated on possible <br />space and price arrangements for the City. <br /> <br />Duane Kropuenske stated that he <br />building and both felt it would be <br />postpone the signing of a lease <br />idea can be looked into more fully. <br /> <br />and Jim Simpson had looked at the <br />in the best interest of the City to <br />with the Sherburne Lodge until this <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO PURSUE A NEW OPTION TO THE CITY SPACE <br />NEEDS IN ORDER THAT THE COUNCIL CAN BE CONFIDENT THAT THEY ARE MAKING <br />THE BEST DECISION. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />5. Authorization to hire Police Officer #10 <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO HIRE <br />PERRY ROWAN AS FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER 1110. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br />
