e e e REGULAR MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY MONDAY. SEPTEMBER 22. 1986 Members Present: Councilmembers Schuldt. Gunkel. Tralle and Engstrom Members Absent: Mayor Hinkle Also Present: Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Terry Maurer. City Engineer; Tom Zerwas. Police Chief; and Phil Hals. Street Superintendent 1. Acting Mayor Schuldt called meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. 2. Consider 9/22/86 City Council Agenda Item 12A - New Police Vehicles was added to the agenda. eOUNCILM!MBER GUNKEL MOVED COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 22. 1986 CITY COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. 3. Consider 9/15/86 City Council Minutes COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE COUNCIL MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOTION PASSED 3-0. SEPTEMBER 15. 1986 CITY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE 4. Authorization to hire Police Officer #10 COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO HIRE PERRY ROWAN AS FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER 1110. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0.
