<br />Page 5 <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />July 7, 1986 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />John Robideau of 203rd Circle indicated he felt most of the streets were <br />in good condition. <br /> <br />Councilmember Williams questioned whether this project could be combined <br />with the Ridgewood East project if only part of this project were to be <br />done. The City Engineer indicated he could combine them on a per ton <br />, bid. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle suggested that the City Council address the areas that need <br />to be overlayed which included 202nd and Vance Street and then also <br />address Tyler Street as a separate project in itself. <br /> <br />Tyler Street was discussed at this time. It was the consensus that the <br />speed study be done first so the City has some sort of direction on how <br />to proceed with this project. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS MOVED THAT VANCE STREET AND 202ND AVENUE BE <br />INCLUDED IN THE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY PROJECT FOR RIDGEWOOD EAST AND <br />RIDGEWOOD EAST SECOND ADDITIONS. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Phil Hals, Street Superintendent indicated he would like to reevaluate <br />the bituminous overlay project for Knollwood, Knollwood West, Knollwood <br />West 3rd, Oak Hills and Oak Hills 2nd Addition and Ulysses and Tyler <br />Street. He indicated he would like to go look at the areas mentioned <br />tonight that are in need of repair and report back to the City Council <br />with a recommendation. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS WITHDREW HIS MOTION. <br />WITHDREW HIS SECOND <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOVED TO CONTINUE THE PUBLI C HEARING UNTIL THE <br />JULY 21ST CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT WHICH TIME PHIL BALS, STREET <br />SUPERINTENDENT WOULD BE PRESENT WITH A RECOMMENDATION. COUNCILMEMBER <br />GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />The City Administrator explained that that Ulysses and Tyler Streets <br />would not be included in the project but that all other people in the <br />proposed area should be present at the July 21st Council Meeting. <br /> <br />6.3. Citizen Building Committee Recommendations <br /> <br />Phil Hals, Street Superintendent, indicated that the Citizen's Building <br />Committee met on Tuesday, July 1, to discuss the proposed public works <br />building. He indicated that the City presented to the Building <br />Committee a lease purchase plan to finance the public works facility. He <br />further stated that he is proposing to investigate four different types <br />of facilities. <br /> <br />e <br />
