• Mr. Gary Schmitz
June 21, 1994
Page Two
The Benshoof traffic analysis concludes three separate points. They are as follows:
1. School operation will generate practically no traffic during the p.m. peak period,
given the closing of the school day at 2:30 - 3:00 p.m.
2. Bus service for approximately 60% of the students attending the school will
significantly reduce the trip generation that would otherwise occur.
3. The ultimate traffic volumes projected for the local roads affected by the school will
remain within the normal range of residential streets even at full enrollment,
estimated at 300 students.
We would concur with the conclusions reached by the Benshoof report and would
recommend that the report adequately addresses traffic issues raised by this proposed
development of a school within the Solid Rock Church. If you have any questions regarding
these comments, please call.
• Sincerely,
MSA, CONSULTING ENGINEERS
C- ' 1, L/e-Wr()
Terry J. Maurer, P.E.
TJM:tw
231-2005 un
111
