The <br /> future extension of Freeport through the MnDOT maintenance site <br /> would seem unlikely in the near future. However, if Freeport <br /> was looped back to Dodge through the MnDOT site, the plat would <br /> have one permanent dead-end (Evans Avenue) which would then be <br /> approximately 800 feet in length. <br /> The five standards to consider when reviewing a variance <br /> request are found in Section 900 .40 of the Elk River Code of <br /> Ordinances . Staff also refers the Planning Commission to the <br /> memo regarding a possible ordinance amendment on the length of <br /> dead-end roads included in this packet.
