RETROACTIVE TO 11/1/87 DUE TO 11/1/87 BEING ELDON t S ANNIVERSARY DATE. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. Budget Amendments for 1987 The City Administrator distributed a handout to the Council which explains where the budget will come in at the end of 1987. The Council reviewed the handout and the budget amendments. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR THE 1987 CITY BUDGET AS SHOWN ON THE BUDGET AMENDMENT FORM ATTACHED. COUNCILMEHBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. Rental of Old City Hall (Nadeau) The City Administrator informed the Council that he received a letter from Al Nadeau of Nadeau Clothing Care Center. requesting the Council to consider the possibility of him renting the old City Hall building while Main Street is under construction. Newly Elected Officials Conference The City Administrator informed the Council that the registration form for the "Newly Elected Officials Conference" is in the League of Minnesota Cities Magazine. He informed the Council that anyone wishing to attend should fill out the form and turn it in to City Hall. Main Street - Dry Run Assessment The City Administrator informed the Council that Staff is planning on holding a "Dry Run Mock Assessment Hearing" for the beautification aspect of the Main Street Project. He indicated that the purpose of this Mock Assessment Hearing is to get an idea of what is really wanted in the downtown area and to give the residents an approximate cost for the improvements they are requesting.
