e e e MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY MONDAY. DECEMBER 21. 1987 Members Present: Mayor Gunkel. Councilmember Schuldt. Councilmember Tralle arrived at 6:40 p.m. and Holmgren. Members Absent: Counc i1member Dobel Staff Present: Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Stephen Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator The Council held interviews for the Utility Commission from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Hank Duitsman's term on the Utility Commission expires January 1. 1988. Interviewed for the Commission were Hank Duitsman. who expressed a desire to be reappointed. and Jack Klein and George Zabee who both submitted a letter requesting to be considered for the position. 1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by Mayor Gunkel at 7:00 p.m. 2. Consideration of 12/21/87 City Council Meeting Items 8.1 - City Administrator Update was added to the agenda. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 12/21/87 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 3. Consideration of 12/7/87 City Council Minutes Page 5. Second Paragraph the wording "in the proposed assessment area" should be added. Page 6 After the public hearing is closed a statement should be made summarizing where the project stands at this time. Page 8. Item implicate that service. but ensure that no 8.8. the first paragraph should be changed so as to not there is a security problem with the previous cleaning that with restaffing the position steps would be taken to problems arise. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED WITH THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. TO APPROVE THE 12/7/87 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. 4.
