<br />Page 10 <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />July 20. 1987 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />THE MOTION PASSED 3-2. <br />AGAINST THE MOTION. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL AND MAYOR GUNKEL VOTED <br /> <br />Duane Kropuenske stated that it would not be feasible financially to <br />require the owners of Replat #8 to construct a linkage road. Mr. Gary <br />Santwire stated that it was physically impossible to put a road <br />connecting to Replat #8 because of the density of houses in relation to <br />the size of the area. Staff indicated that tying into Replat #8 would <br />make a dead end road almost double in length than the one requested. <br /> <br />COUNcILMRMBER TRALLE MOVED THAT THE ISSUE OF VARIANCE REQUEST BY MILO <br />HENNEMANN BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE COUNCIL DUE TO ACTION BEING TAKEN BEFORE <br />ADEQUATE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE VARIANCE REQUEST BY MILO <br />HENNIMANN TO ALLOW UP TO A 300 FOOT ENCROACHMENT ON THE LENGTH OF A DEAD <br />END STREET WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE PROPERTY BE PLATTED AND THE DEAD <br />END ROAD BE AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PLAT. COUNCILMEMBER <br />HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.13.Preliminary Plat Review/Deerfield 4th Addition/Public Hearing <br />This item was withdrawn by the petitioner. <br /> <br />e 5.14.Amendment to Official City Map/Houlton Investment/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel stated that Mr. K. S. Houlton is requesting an amendment to <br />an official map established by Document #129894 to remove proposed street <br />corridors in and around Lion's Park. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearing. No one appeared for or against <br />the matter. Mayor Gunkel closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER <br />AMEND ING THE <br />LIONS PARK. <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 87-37. A RESOLUTION <br />OFFICIAL MAP BY REMOVING CERTAIN STREET CORRIDORS AROUND <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> <br />5.15.Final Plat for Rail 10 <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated that Mr. Tom Hipsag was present requesting final <br />plat approval for Rail 10. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7 LOT FINAL PLAT OF RAIL 10 <br />WITH THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />e <br />
