Inc. was introduced to the City Council by Pat <br />Klaers. City Administrator to present Publicorp's Economic Development <br />Analysis Preliminary Proposal for Elk River. <br /> <br />Sidney Inman gave background information on his work experience and that <br />of Publicorp. Inc. He stated that the motivation of his company is to <br />protect the City and to negotiate financial proposals between the City and <br />new industries. Mr. Inman also explained work-shops that Publicorp. Inc. <br />puts on which entail bringing in various prople from bonding firms and <br />attorney firms to discuss the laws and trends of economic development in a <br />City. <br /> <br />When the floor was opened for questioning; the main topic of discussion <br />was financing tools that are available for the City to encourage <br />industrial development. The objectives of the Chamber and the City were <br />discussed and how these objectives may differ in the future. The Council <br />asked additional questions about the work- shops which were then explained <br />in further detail. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3.3 Michael Mulrooney of Business Development Services.
