COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.4 Consider Amendment to Salary Resolution <br /> <br />Pat Klaers explained to the Council that the City only intends to pay <br />holiday. vacation and sick time benefits to clerical permanent part-time <br />employees. <br /> <br />The word clerical had been omitted in two sentences under paragraph <br />number 6 from the 1987 salary resolution. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE <br />"CLERICAL" TO ITEM <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 87-15 ADDING THE WORD <br />#6. cOUNCILMEMBER DOBEL. SECONDED THE MOTION . THE <br /> <br />5.5 Beer/Wine Resolution <br /> <br />No action was taken due to no legislation having been introduced at this <br />time. <br /> <br />~ 5.6 City Hall Proposals <br /> <br />Lori Johnson was in attendance to <br />information on parties interested <br />facilities. The three parties Ms. <br />furniture storage. and a gift shop. <br /> <br />present to the Council recent <br />in renting the present City Hall <br />Johnson spoke on are CAER. a <br /> <br />CAER is strongly interested in renting the lower level of City Hall. The <br />question was raised asking if CAER realizes the amount of work needed in <br />that area. The Council also questioned the financial situation. It was <br />then decided that CAER come and see the facilities. and discuss finances. <br /> <br />An individual contacted Ms. Johnson regarding the renting of the lower <br />level of City Hall to be used as a furniture storage facility. Ms. <br />Johnson stated that this caller was willing to pay $200 rent a month. was <br />asking about utilities since he will use very little heat and lights. and <br />would like a two (2) year lease. Ms. Johnson stated that this man was <br />also interested in possibly purchasing the building. <br /> <br />There was also some interest <br />the Police Department as <br />questioned the possibility <br />accomodations. Ms. Johnson <br />buying the building. <br /> <br />shown by a party. Ms. <br />a gift shop. It was also the consensus of the <br />Council to try to facilitate CAER. <br />
