She also noted that some of the people who signed the petition <br />did not live in Elk River and also that some people signed their name <br />twice. <br /> <br />Councilmember Tralle noted that no matter what decision is made. the City <br />would probably be involved in a lawsuit. and. therefore. stated that <br />the City is not voting one way or another because of any lawsuit threat. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 87-3, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE CITY OF ELK RIVER ZONING MAP TO ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY UPA <br />INTO THE SWF-SOLID WASTE FACILITY OVERLAY DISTRICT. COUNcILMEMBER <br />SCHJJLDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-1. COUNcILMEMBER DOBEL <br />OPPOSED. <br /> <br />6.1. Consider Hiring of Part Time Receptionist <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO HIRE ALICE HEINECKE AS PART TIME <br />RECEPTIONIST AT A WAGE OF $5.50 PER HOUR WITH A THREE MONTH REVIEW AND <br />AN INCREASE IN SALARY TO 6.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON THE REVIEW. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br />Consider Resolution relating to Parking Ban in Industrial Park <br /> <br />6.2. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 87-12. A RESOLUTION <br />RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON STATE AID PROJECT 204-125-01 FROM <br />CSAH 1 TO CSAH 1 IN THE CITY OF ELK RIVER. MINNESOTA. COUNCILMEMBER <br />DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.1. Liquor Store Ingress-Egress <br /> <br />This item was cancelled due to the lateness of the hour. <br /> <br />8.
