Check Register <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHECK REGISTER. COUNCILMEMBER <br />HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />9. Other Business <br /> <br />The City Administrator advised the Council that the Growth Management <br />Task Force will hold its first meeting this week. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the City Staff has <br />implemented the new platting procedures as discussed at the Joint City <br />Council/Planning Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />The City Administrator requested the Council to consider using equipment <br />certificates for the purchase of a binding machine which would be used to <br />bind such documents such as budgets. department reports. etc. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE USE OF EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATES <br />IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $600.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BINDING <br />MACHINE. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />4-0. <br /> <br />The City Administrator noted that the City is trying to eliminate the use <br />of equipment certificates by using annual general fund revenues and <br />reserve funds. He indicated that the City has received $30.000 from the <br />County for the Gospodar Park Property. He further indicated that the <br />City would like permission from the Council to create a capital outlay <br />reserve fund with this money in an effort to reduce future needs for <br />equipment certificates. <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY STAFF TO CREATE A <br />CAPITAL OUTLAY RESERVE FUND AND DEPOSIT INTO THIS FUND THE $30.000 <br />RECEIVED FROM SHERBURNE COUNTY FOR THE GOSPODAR PARK PROPERTY. <br />cOUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED l'HE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />Councilmember Tralle gave a brief review of the Utility Commission <br />Meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated she would like the City Council and the Planning <br />Commission to view the video of the Governor's Design Team presentation. <br />
