Councilmembers Tralle. Holmgren and Dobel <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator arrived at <br />6:55 p.m. <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River City <br />Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consider 10/24/88 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated that items 5.1. 5.2. and 5.3 all relate to TIF #5 <br />and require a public hearing. She noted that Staff inadvertantly <br />neglected to place the proper notice for a public hearing. therefore these <br />items would be deleted until such time that the notice for public hearing <br />has been published. <br /> <br />Items 4.1 and 4.2 were moved after items 5.4.. 5.5.. 5.6.. and 5.7 due to <br />the fact Staff was not present to present these items. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 10/24/88 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />4-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consideration of 10/17/88 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />The following corrections were made to the 10/17/88 Council minutes: <br /> <br />1) Page 6. Item #5.7 #4 should read excactly the same as in item 5.6 #4. <br /> <br />2) Page 6. Item 5.8. the first sentence in the second paragraph should <br />read as follows: "Discussion was held regarding the fact that the permit <br />does not specifically state that NSP is to retain fire suppression water <br />that comes into contact with garbage." <br /> <br />3) Page 8. Item 8.2. the word regrading should read as "regarding." <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ACCEPT THE 10/17/88 CITY COUNCIL AS AMlNi)l~t). <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />5.5.Consider Pay Estimate for Royal Oaks Ridge <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE PAY ESTIMATE #2 TO S & L EXCAVATING <br />FOR IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED AT THE ROYAL OAKS RIDGE PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $125.006.96. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />
