THAT THE PLAN INDICATE THAT THE EXTENSION OF CITY SEWER AND WATER TO <br />THE WESTERN END OF ELK RIVER SHOULD HAPPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. <br /> <br />4. THAT THE TEN ACRE ZONE CHANGE FROM THE NORTH OF HEAVENLY HILLS TO THE <br />SOUTH OF HEAVENLY HILLS FOLLOWING COUNTY ROAD 33 FROM THE EASTERN <br />EDGE OF ELK RIVER TO THE WESTERN EDGE OF ELK RIVER. <br /> <br />5. THAT MAP 3-C BE CORRECTED TO COINCIDE WITH MAP 4-A IN REGARDS TO THE <br />MEDIUM DENSITY BOUNDARY LINE. <br /> <br />6. THAT THE BOUNDARY LINE BE CHANGED ON MAP 4-A, TO INCLUDE A PORTION OF <br />LAND FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BRENTWOOD, WEST TO THE RAILROAD <br />TRACKS, IN THE LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE. <br /> <br />7. THAT THE AREA WEST OF THE COURTHOUSE, SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 10, AND ALSO <br />THE AREA NORTH OF SCHOOL STREET ON HIGHWAY 169, BE ZONED PUD TO ALLOW <br />COMPATIBLE USES IN THE AREA. <br /> <br />B. THAT MINOR WORD CHANGES AND TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS BE CORRECTED IN THE <br />DOCUMENT . <br /> <br />e COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.1. Mayor Gunkel - Water Restrictions <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated that drought conditions seem to be continuing and <br />urged all residents of the City of Elk River to make a conscious effort <br />to preserve water. She indicated that although the City of Elk River has <br />enough water at the present time, efforts should be made to conserve <br />water. She further requested all residents of Elk River to discontinue <br />the watering of their lawns and if they must water to do so between the <br />hours of 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. She indicated that compliance to the <br />request is strictly voluntary. <br /> <br />6.2. City Administrator <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the City owns Outlot A in Ridgewood <br />East Addition. He stated that the Street Department has begun to remove <br />the poor soils from the outlot. If, after checking with the City <br />Attorney and City Building and Zoning Administrator, the property is <br />buildable and legal for the City to sell, then the City is prepared to <br />sell the property and put the money in the street capital equipment fund. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION.
