FEBRUARY 29. 1988 <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gunkel. Councilmembers Dobel. Schuldt. Tralle and <br />Holmgren <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Sandy Thackeray. Deputy City <br />Clerk; Tom Zerwas. Chief of Police; and Lori Johnson. <br />Finance Director <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River City <br />Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Gunkel. <br /> <br />2. Consideraton of Agenda <br /> <br />Item 3.5 <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Presentation by Terry Hurd/Meals on Wheels was added to the <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2/29/88 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />O. <br /> <br />3.1.Consideration of February 3. 1988 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt stated that he would like the following sentence <br />added to number 6. "Councilmember Schuldt indicated that the City still <br />has unpaid assessments from the County on the parking lot improvement <br />which took place in the middle 70's. There was no response made from the <br />County regarding this matter." <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 3. 1988. CITY COUNCIL <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> <br />3.2.Consideration of February 6. 1988. City Council Minutes <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt indicated he would like the following sentence added <br />after the motion on the council salary was made: "Councilmember Schuldt <br />indicated his opposition to the motion was because he felt the increase <br />should be split over a two year period." <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 6. 1988. CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3.3.February 22. 1988. City Council Minutes <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk <br />88-15 and. therefore. <br />as it was approved <br />88-15. as indicated in <br /> <br />indicated an error was made in omitting Resolution <br />this resolution should be included in the minutes. <br />by Council. She further indicated that Resolution <br />the minutes should be changed to 88-16. <br />
