Administrator's Update was added to the Agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2/1/88 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />O. <br /> <br />3.1. <br /> <br />January 20. 1988. City Engineer. gave an update on the Main Street "Mock <br />Assessment Hearing" held on Thursday. January 21. 1988. at Handke <br />school. He explained the purpose of the meeting. which was to give the <br />people who are being assessed for downtown beautification amenities an <br />estimate of what the assessment charges will be for the project. Mr. <br />Maurer explained that the assessment figures were arrived at by using <br />the commercial properties east of Lowell Avenue. and excluding the <br />commercial properties west of Lowell Avenue.
