Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Pursuant to <br />City Counc il <br /> <br />due call <br />meeting <br /> <br />and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River <br />was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Tralle. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider 3/20/89 City Council Agenda <br />8.4 - Tabled <br />8.4 - Added - City Council Planning Commission Policy <br />8.7 - Deleted <br />8.7 - Added - Dave Plude <br />4.5 - Added Determination of Use Concerning Used Car Sales <br />12.1- Added - Councilmember Schuldt <br />12.2- Added - Councilmember Dobel <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider 3/13/89 City Council Minutes <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 13. 1989 CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES. COUNCIL MEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Open Mike <br />No one appeared for this item. <br /> <br />4.5 <br /> <br />Used Car Sales <br />Mr. Wayne Milinkovich. owner of Pro Motors. approached the City Council. <br />He indicated that he is currently operating out of the old Nord Motor <br />site and feels it is in his best interest to vacate the building at the <br />end of the month as the building is going through foreclosure at the <br />present time. He indicated to the Council that he has a new site picked <br />out and further that he has a tentative Purchase Agreement with the owner <br />of the site. He ~tated that the site is the old Jake's Market on <br />Highway 10. <br /> <br />Steve Bjork. Zoning Assistant. indicated that in order for Used Car Sales <br />to operate out of that site. a conditional use permit would be needed. <br />He indicated that the owner is requesting permission from the Council to <br />operate out of the site prior to receiving the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator. indicated that if the <br />Council did allow him to operate out of this site prior to receiving a <br />conditional use permit. there would be no guarantee that a conditional <br />use permit would be granted. <br />
