He also requested that the eastern <br />40 acres be zoned residential as he has invested in a rather costly home <br />in the middle of the 40 acres. He indicated it is a beautiful <br />residential area and is located next to the park. <br /> <br />Earl Hohlen indicated he would like his land to be zoned residential <br />rather than commercial. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dobel <br />zoned residential <br />water and sewer. <br />zoned PUD. <br /> <br />indicated he would like to see the eastern portion be <br />and the western portion zoned commercial with City <br />Mayor Tralle indicated he would like to see the area <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 89-2, <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO REZONE AREA 11 FROM I-1 TO PUD. <br />DOBEt SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />COUNCILMEMBER <br /> <br />Area 3 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, indicated that Area 3 is <br />currently zoned C-2 and previous reviews by both the Planning Commission <br />and Council recommended that one lot deep south of Main Street and east <br />of Lowell Avenue be zoned C-1/Central Business and the lots south of that <br />be zoned R-2B. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Les Anderson - 208 Lowell stated he would like to postpone any action on <br />this zone change due to plans being formulated for the area at the <br />present time. <br /> <br />Elaine Anderson questioned whether she could sell her house if the <br />property was zoned commercial. <br /> <br />Bob Dare <br />special <br />area. <br /> <br />stated he would like to see the Council use this property in a <br />way as it is the last choice piece of property in the downtown <br /> <br />Dan Anderson, 817 and 221 Main Street requested that the City Council <br />table any decision until 30 to 60 days as there are people interested in <br />developing the property. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />@@YN~ItMftMlKR HOLMORlN MOVlD TO CONTINU! <br />rlBIUMY 13. 1989; TO BEHELD AT THE <br />COUNCILMKMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />THIS PUBLIC HEARING UNTIL <br />COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5~O. <br />
