. - - MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY MONDAYt DECEMBER 17t 1990 Members Present: Mayor Trallet Councilmembers Schuldtt Dobelt Kropuenske and Holmgren Members Absent: None Staff Present: steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator; Janelle Szklarski, Zoning Assistant; Sandy Thackeray, City Clerk; Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Lori Johnson, Finance Director; Peter Beck, City Attorney; Cliff Skogstadt Building Official; Terry Zajac, Building Inspector 1. Call Meetin~ To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereoft the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by Mayor Tralle at 7:00 p.m. 2. Consider 12/17/90 City Council A~enda Item 7.1 was moved to Item 4.1, Item 5.3t School Street Signal, was added to the agenda. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 12/17/90 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3.1 Consider 12/3/90 City Council Minutes The following amendments were made to the minutes: Page 4, first paragraph, the words "another location" should be replaced by the words "a separate lot"; Page 6, third paragraph, the name Dick Greg should be changed to Dick Gruys; Page 6, Item 7.2, replace the first sentence wi th the following, "Mayor Tralle stated he would like to see staff, all Commission members, and City Councilmembers obtain Council approval for all out of State travel in 1991 until the City can determine how State budget cuts will effect the City budget". COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 12/3/90 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3.2 Consider 12/10/90 City Council Minutes The following change was made to the Council minutes: Under Item 4, the word policy should be replaced with the words "past practice".
