<br />City Council Minutes <br />October 22, 1990 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />6.8 Other - C.R. 42 Brid~e <br /> <br />Lori Johnson, Finance Director, informed the Council that she has <br />received a bill from the State for about $40,000 for County Road 42 <br />'bridge. She indicated that the bill is for utility lines that were <br />removed and the Utilities and the Council had a 1985 agreement that the <br />bill would be paid by Utilities; however, this was never done. It was <br />the consensus of the Council to send the bill to Utilities. <br /> <br />The City Administrator updated the <br />Sewer Plant meeting to be held <br />improvements on Proctor Avenue and <br />Curtis property. <br /> <br />Council on the Orono Bridge, the <br />with the City of Otsego, the <br />the guard rail situation on the <br /> <br />7.1 <br /> <br />Community Center Task Force Update <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren informed the Council that the Task Force has <br />defined the uses to be included in the community center and stated that <br />the Task Force is ready to make a presentation to the City Council. He <br />informed the Council that the Task Force has some creative plans in <br />mind which could privately fund the project. He indicated that a site <br />location has been selected and that it is the request of the Task Force <br />to meet with the City Council to present this information to them. He <br />further indicated that the square footage of the proposed community <br />center is 96,000. The City Administrator indicated that the Task Force <br />is looking at the long term needs for a community center. The Council <br />discussed funding options for the community center and the components <br />of a community center. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that they should be <br />thinking about the information they have been receiving from staff <br />regarding the Community Center Task Force meeting and be prepared to <br />meet with the Task Force regarding this information. <br /> <br />8. ~ity Administrator Update <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that a temporary fence <br />easement is being requested between the City and Manford and Eleanor <br />Lawatsch. He indicated that the City is granting a temporary easement <br />over and across the premises for purposes of fenced yard, maintenance <br />and access. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCI LMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO GRANT A TEMPORARY FENCE EASEMENT TO <br />MAN FORD AND ELEANOR LAWATSCH FOR PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF OAK KNOLL <br />ADDITION. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that he has received the <br />finalized job descriptions of all City Employees and requested whether <br />the Council wanted to review all of the descriptions.
