City Council Minutes October 22, 1990 Page 5 e 6.8 Other - C.R. 42 Brid~e Lori Johnson, Finance Director, informed the Council that she has received a bill from the State for about $40,000 for County Road 42 'bridge. She indicated that the bill is for utility lines that were removed and the Utilities and the Council had a 1985 agreement that the bill would be paid by Utilities; however, this was never done. It was the consensus of the Council to send the bill to Utilities. The City Administrator updated the Sewer Plant meeting to be held improvements on Proctor Avenue and Curtis property. Council on the Orono Bridge, the with the City of Otsego, the the guard rail situation on the 7.1 Community Center Task Force Update e Councilmember Holmgren informed the Council that the Task Force has defined the uses to be included in the community center and stated that the Task Force is ready to make a presentation to the City Council. He informed the Council that the Task Force has some creative plans in mind which could privately fund the project. He indicated that a site location has been selected and that it is the request of the Task Force to meet with the City Council to present this information to them. He further indicated that the square footage of the proposed community center is 96,000. The City Administrator indicated that the Task Force is looking at the long term needs for a community center. The Council discussed funding options for the community center and the components of a community center. The City Administrator informed the Council that they should be thinking about the information they have been receiving from staff regarding the Community Center Task Force meeting and be prepared to meet with the Task Force regarding this information. 8. ~ity Administrator Update The City Administrator informed the Council that a temporary fence easement is being requested between the City and Manford and Eleanor Lawatsch. He indicated that the City is granting a temporary easement over and across the premises for purposes of fenced yard, maintenance and access. e COUNCI LMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO GRANT A TEMPORARY FENCE EASEMENT TO MAN FORD AND ELEANOR LAWATSCH FOR PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF OAK KNOLL ADDITION. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. The City Administrator informed the Council that he has received the finalized job descriptions of all City Employees and requested whether the Council wanted to review all of the descriptions.
