The City Administrator reminded the City Council about the October <br />newsletter and requested any relevant newsletter articles from the <br />Council before mid-September. <br /> <br />I. The City Administrator noted that a formal request has been <br />received for three additional street lights. The locations have <br />been reviewed by the Chief of Police and he is recommending the <br />installation of street lights. These three locations are at <br />Proctor and Ridgewood Drive; Islandview Drive at Joplin Street; <br />and Islandview Drive at 190th Avenue. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO AUTHORIZED THE INSTALLATION OF THE <br />THREE STREET LIGHTS AS DISCUSSED. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.5. Qouncilmember Kropuenske-Evans Avenue Assessments <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the unusual situation with the townhouse <br />platted property along Evans Avenue and the assessments which these two <br />residential units are anticipated to receive when the street is <br />approved. The Council directed staff to review the situation to see if <br />the situation is unusual enough to merit an amendment in the assessment <br />role or a negotiated settlement with the two individuals that have <br />assessment appeals pending. <br /> <br />The City Attorney indicated that this issue could be discussed in an <br />Executive Session, as the Council is reviewing a potential assessment <br />appeal negotiated settlement. This Executive Session should be noted <br />on the agenda and should take place at the end of the 9/17/90 City <br />Council meeting. The City Council concurred that such an Executive <br />Session should take place on 9/17/90. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Miournment <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO <br />ADJOURN THE MEE'rING. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
