THAT A PERMIT BE OBTAINED FROM THE COUNTY FOR ACCESS OFF OF COUNTY <br />ROAD #32 FOR PARCEL D. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.4 Si~na~e Request by Beaudty Insurance <br /> <br />Zoning Assistant Janelle Szklarski stated that Beaudry Insurance is <br />requesting approval for an addition to the freestanding sign for their <br />office building which is located within a PUD. <br /> <br />Ri ta Johnson, Planning Commission Representative indicated that there <br />was a concern regarding the signage being consistent with existing <br />signage and also that the signage fit in with the residential character <br />of the neighborhood. She stated that the Planning Commission felt that <br />the signage request met these requirements and recommended approval of <br />the request. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL <br />SIGNAGE FOR BEAUDRY INSURANCE LOCATED AT 506 FREEPORT AVENUE WITH THE <br />FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />THAT THE PROPOSED ADDITION BE CONSTRUCTED OF MATERIALS SIMILAR TO <br />THE EXISTING SIGN. <br /> <br />2. NO LIGHTING OF THE SIGN BEFORE 6:30 A.M. OR AFTER 10:00 P.M. <br /> <br />3. THE LIGHTING MUST BE DIRECTED AWAY FROM THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND <br />ADJACENT DWELLINGS. ' <br /> <br />4. THAT THE FREESTANDING SIGN MUST NOT BE A VISIBILITY PROBLEM FOR <br />TRAFFIC. <br /> <br />5. THE SIGN SHALL HAVE INDIRECT LIGHTING. NO ILLUMINATION FROM THE <br />INTERIOR OF THE SIGN WILL BE ALLOWED. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.5-6.6 Variance and Conditional Use Permit Request by the Church of St. <br />Andrew~. H. <br /> <br />Zoning Assistant Janelle Szklarski indicated that St. Andrew's Church <br />is requesting a conditional use permit to increase the size of their <br />existing school and is also requesting a variance to encroach on the <br />front yard setback. <br />
