Call Board of EQualization Meetin~ <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO CALL THE LOCAL BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />MEETING TO BE HELD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 12, 1990, AT 6:00 P.M. AT THE <br />SHERBURNE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0-1. Councilmember Holmgren <br />abstained. <br /> <br />6.7. Resolution for Feasibility Report for School Street and Proctor Avenue <br />Intersection <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO ADOPT 90-7, A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY <br />OF ELK RIVER ORDERING A PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE OF THE <br />SCHOOL STREET/PROCTOR AVENUE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS OF 1990. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7. Check Re~ister <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8.1. Ro~er Holm~ren-Community Center Task Force Update <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren informed the Council that the Task Force has met <br />for the third time. He indicated that Ellie Kretch has resigned from <br />the Task Force and that Kathleen Heaney has been approached regarding <br />becoming a Task Force At Large member. The City Administrator <br />indicated that Allan Kremer has contacted him regarding his interest in <br />the Task Force. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren indicated that Pat Rasmusson has been elected as <br />Chairperson and that meetings have been scheduled for the first <br />Thursday and third Monday of every month until the project is <br />completed. He further indicated that the Community Center Task Force <br />has discussed site possibilities and that they are planning on touring <br />surrounding Community Centers. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPOINT ALLAN KREMER AND KATHLEEN <br />HEANEY TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER TASK FORCE. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />9. City Administrator Update <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the City has received <br />complaints regarding garbage spillage along Highway 10 and 165 Avenue. <br />He indicated that this will have to be address during the conditional <br />use permit and license renewal for NSP and UPA. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren stated that he has seen two trucks driving out <br />of UPA on Sunday. He indicated that this is the second time that he <br />has noticed this happening and requested staff to inform UPA that this <br />has not been approved by the City. <br />
