Mayor TraUe <br />suggested an ordinance amendment to reduce the Park and Recreation <br />Commission from eight members to seven members. After further <br />discussion It. was the consenSlls of the Council to Informally extend the <br />application date for the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle indicated that terms of three of the members on the <br />Planning Commission will expire on 12/31/91. He stated that Robert <br />Bischoff and Mary Eberley have requested reappointment and that Jerry <br />Schroeder has requested not to be reappointed. He further indicated <br />that the City has received five applications for consideration to the <br />Planning Commission. It was the consensus of the City Council to <br />interview the five applicants and tbe two Commission members requesting <br />reappointment. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER <br />CITY COUNCIL ON MONDAY, JANUARY 6, 1991, AT 6:30 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF INTERVIEWING APPLICANTS FROM 6: 30 to 8: 00. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />8.8. Partial Pay Estimate #3 Proctor Avenue Improvement Project <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE PARTIAL PAY ESTIMATE #3 TO R. L. <br />LARSON EXCAVATING INCORPORATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $184,668.62 FOR THE <br />PROCTOR A VENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. COUNC I LMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />8.9. Police Union Contract;. <br /> <br />Pat KIaers informed the Council that the Police Union and the Cit.y have <br />reached an agreement for the 1991-92 Police Union Contract. He stated <br />that this action by the Police Union would cancel the 12/19/91 <br />Arbi tration head ng. He indicated that the agreement reached was an <br />increase in wages of 4% for 1991 and 4% for 1992 and with three <br />additional premium holidays as outlined in the City's offer dated <br />9/30/91. <br /> <br />8.10.1992 Citv Pav Resol!ltion <br />
