Work session <br /> I 1.1 Trails Master Plan <br /> The work session meeting of the Elk River Parks and Recreation Commission was called <br /> to order at 8:07 p.m. by Chair Anderson. <br /> Mr. Sevcik led discussion regarding the Trails Master Plan. <br /> Trail on south side of 33 to make a safer connection to other county roads. NE section. <br /> Keep County Road (CR) trail on 33, trail on west side of CR13 to Twin Lakes Elementary. <br /> Consider both sides of CR13 from CR33(Viking Blvd) to Twin Lakes Elementary. Put trail <br /> on North side of CR33 going east to get to Twin Lakes Park. <br /> Tyler Street, find out where the right of way is and what the terrain is like for trails. <br /> 197th trail on the south side,with existing trail and to tie in Highlands Park. <br /> Trott Brook/Twin Lakes corridor <br /> • CR13 on south side from the Twin Lakes Elementary <br /> • <br /> • CR12 trail on south side this road is part of the MRT. Look at doing both sides, <br /> connectivity for both sides. <br /> • Link Birch Meadow Park with a boardwalk <br /> • CR40 on the west side <br /> • Commissioner Niziolek proposes to put trail on north side of pond near Trott <br /> Brook <br /> • Baldwin Park and Barrington Park, neighborhoods need a trail/sidewalk from Line <br /> Ave. to frontage road. <br /> • Highway 169 overpass trail eastward goes on 189th, 190th to Tyler St. Discuss in <br /> detail later. <br /> • Trail in Kliever Lake Fields and attach through power line corridor to Hillside and <br /> punch out to the west to townhome neighborhood. <br /> Kliever Lake/YAC/MRT <br /> • Trail along Highway 10 continuation from Ramsey trail. <br /> • Cross Highway 169 at 165th and trail to YAC and do a trail along the Railroad <br /> north to Northstar station <br /> • Consider noting a trail on the bluff side of river. Show alternate along Highway 10. <br /> Downtown/Lion John Weicht Park/Bailey Point Nature Preserve <br /> • Trail/sidewalk along Lions Park Drive <br /> r ® iFIFI 1r <br />
