Update on Planning Commission Applications <br /> <br />The City Administrator reminded the Council that there are <br />Planning Commission terms ending December 31, 1992. He suggested <br />the City Council interview the applicants in January. It was <br />consensus of the Council to hold Planning Commission interviews <br />January 14, following the EDA meeting. <br /> <br />some <br />that <br />the <br />on <br /> <br />5. Staff Updates <br /> <br />other Business <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that Phil Hale is <br />requesting the Council to authorize the employment of Chris Leeseburg <br />for a couple of weeks during December for sidewalk snow removal and <br />other miscellaneous winter duties. He indicated that Chris has been a <br />summer employee for the City of Elk River for several years. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to authorize the employment of <br />Chris Leeseburg provided there is money left in the part time budget. <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that staff has received a <br />letter from the developers of Elk Park Center indicating the submittal <br />of their latest site plan. <br /> <br />Pat Klaers distributed two letters which staff has received; one from <br />Jim Hecker indicating his support for the location of the City Hall and <br />another one which was signed "A Frustrated Resident." <br /> <br />6. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED <br />THE MEETING.
