Policy on Sewer and Water Service Stub-ins <br /> <br />Terry Maurer indicated that staff is requesting Council to consider a <br />change in policy which would allow sanitary sewer and water services in <br />new plats to be extended beyond the right-Of-way line to the outer edge <br />of the front yard drainage and utility easement. He indicated that <br />this would eliminate conflicts between gas, electric, telephone, or <br />cable TV when extending services to new homes. He further stated that <br />the only exception would be in areas where removal of trees would be <br />required. Terry Maurer indicated that Elk River Utilities has approved <br />this policy. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE POLICY REGARDING SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATER SERVICE STUB-INS BEING EXTENDED BEYOND THE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />LINE TO THE OUTER EDGE OF FRONT YARD DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.1. Conditional Use Permit Request to Construct and Operate a Bus Terminal <br />by John Weicht/P.H. Case No. CU-93-13 <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf explained that this issue was continued from the June 21, <br />1993, City Council meeting.
