<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Elk River City Council Minutes <br />July 19, 1993 <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />--------------- <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant has experienced an RBC break. He stated that the City <br />is exploring all possible options to replace or repair the RBC shaft. <br /> <br />11. Other Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Farber stated that he has had several concerned citizens <br />request the City to consider paving the portion of County Road 33 that <br />is gravel (Ranch Road, West of County Road 32). He stated it is about <br />a half mile of gravel road which runs into tar on both sides. <br /> <br />The City Administrator explained that this issue was before the Council <br />a couple of years ago and the Council requested help in funding the <br />project from Big Lake Township, but the Township refused. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />7.5. Consider Code of Ethics (Continued) <br /> <br />The City Attorney added the amended language to the Conflict of <br />Interest Policy per request from Councilmember Scheel. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO <br />AMENDING SECTION 218.08(9) OF <br />REGARDING THE CITY'S CONFLICT OF <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE 93-8, AN ORDINANCE <br />THE ELK RIVER CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />INTEREST POLICY. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />8. Executive Session City Council Meeting <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED <br />RIVER CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS <br />HOULTON, AND THEILKE CASES. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK <br />PENDING LITIGATION REGARDING THE HOHLEN, <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />The Council recessed into an Executive Session at 9:06 p.m. and reconvened <br />at 9:25 p.m. <br />
