He felt that they should not be allowed to park <br />there and that Mork Clinic may not be meeting the parking ordinance <br />requirement. Pat Klaers indicated that he has received no complaints <br />regarding this issue and that it was his understanding that Mork Clinic met <br />parking requirements as required by the ordinance; however, he would have <br />staff check into the situation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Farber questioned the time frame on constructing the community <br />center and felt that it should be on the 1993-97 project list. <br />Councilmember Holmgren agreed. The City Council concurred that the plan <br />presented by the Community Center Task Force was too big for the community <br />to support, but there was a need for meeting rooms. Councilmember Scheel <br />felt that some parts of the Community Center were not needed if the City <br />were to work with a private sector. <br /> <br />Councilmember Scheel felt that an alternate transportation route to <br />Industrial Park, as previously discussed, should be high priority. <br />Councilmember Farber felt that the School Street expansion, the Jackson and <br />School intersection, and the Freeport and School Street intersection should <br />be on the priority list. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER <br />CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS POLICE UNION NEGOTIATIONS. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
