COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.7d. Review Cleaning Contract Extensions <br /> <br />The City Administrator stated that the City intends to continue using <br />its current cleaning services in the new facility. However, <br />adjustments will have to be made regarding payment contract amounts. <br />He indicated that the bids presented from current companies were <br />$13,300 for the City Hall side and $11,300 for the Police Department <br />side. The Council had no problems with this contract extension. <br /> <br />7.8. Proclamation - Russ Matchinsky <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADOPT A PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING RUSS <br />MATCHINSKY'S YEARS OF SERVICE AS THE COUNTY ENGINEER. COUNCI LMEMBER <br />FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.9. Consider Park and Recreation Commission Applications <br /> <br />Administrator stated that the City has received two applicants <br />vacancy on the Park and Recreation Commission. It was the <br />of the Council to interview the two applicants for the <br />on the Park and Recreation commission at 7 p.m. on Monday, <br />1993. <br /> <br />The City <br />for the <br />consensus <br />position <br />March 22, <br /> <br />8. Staff Updates <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that training for the new <br />phone system would be held next week. <br /> <br />The City Administrator questioned whether the Council would prefer to <br />hold an open house in conjunction with Law Enforcement Day on May 8. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that an open house for both the <br />police Department and City Hall not be held until later in the summer <br />when all landscaping is complete. <br /> <br />11. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER <br />ADJOURN.
